Riding Facilities
We have a number of riding facilities at Croft Riding Centre include a large indoor arena, a large outdoor all weather floodlit arena, second outdoor all weather arena as well as a 30 fence cross country course.
The Indoor Arena is 20m x 40m (70' x 140') in size, is fully
covered and as well as having good natural lighting is also equipped
with flood lights to allow use both during the day and evening. The
Indoor Arena also has a viewing gallery for spectators with vending
machines supplying cold drinks and snacks. It is also adjacent to the
Club House which can provide both hot and cold beverages as well as
a place to seek warmth during the colder months.
New for Winter 2008, Small Indoor Arena 15m x 12m (49' x 39') suitable for private lessons.
The
Large Outdoor Arena is 22m x 92m (72' x 302') in size and is equipped with
floodlighting to allow it to be used both during the day and also
the evening.
Second Outdoor Arena is 20m x 60m (65' x 196') in size and is being equipped with
floodlighting.
The Cross Country course has approximately 30 fences including drops, ditches, banks and a number of water hazards. It has fences are of various heights from (1'9" to 3'3") and is ideally for those people just embarking in Cross Country to the more experienced Cross Country Rider.
